Well, until you've tried the Black Label, you haven't experienced the utmost in creamy blues. How's this one different? Well, for starters, the gray mold on the rind brings another layer of nuance to the flavor profile. A longer ripening time also enhances the taste and texture. A great introduction to blue cheese for those who might be intimidated by some of the more intense specimens on offer - try it with something bubbly and brut.

Montagnolo Affine is a surface-ripened, triple cream cheese made by Käserei Champignon, Lauben / Allgäu, Germany. Aged at low temperature, and cold-maturation process, it slowly develops aromatic, consistent and spicy flavour. The creamy paste with blue veins has a distinctive, sweet aroma. Montagnolo is available in two different varieties such as; one with a grey rind or a white mould. This rich, buttery and little piquant cheese has won the Supreme Champion award at the 2013 International Cheese Awards. 

Mirabo Walnut is a double cream, Brie-style cheese made from pasteurized cow’s milk and crème fraiche, made by Kaserei Champignon, Germany. This soft-ripened cheese is creamy with the distinct flavour of walnuts. Its unique blossom shape and white mould, makes this cheese visually stunning on a cheese board. Mirabo Walnut contains high amounts of calcium from milk and protein, fiber from nuts. Taste it with fruits, honey drizzled on the top. German Rieslings, Gewürztraminers, Ruländer or Morio-Muscat will serve as a good accompaniment for Mirabo Walnut cheese.

Cambozola Grand Noir is a fine blue, regional cow's milk cheese made by Käserei Champignon, Lauben / Allgäu, Germany. Grand Noir is extremely creamy soft cheese that melts in the mouth instantly.
